## 2. Information We Process

KOPI processes information that users enter into the application when creating and managing savings goals.

* the amount currently saved;
* the regular contribution amount;
* the contribution frequency;
* the date the goal was created;
* records of contributions;
* savings streak information;
* goal settings and status information;
* the image or image URL associated with a savings goal.

KOPI also uses a unique, pseudonymous user identifier to associate a user's savings goals and related activity with that user's data.

KOPI does not require users to provide their name, phone number, or email address for the current version of the application.

## 3. How We Use Information

The information processed by KOPI is used to provide the application's core functionality, including:

* creating and managing savings goals;
* calculating savings progress;
* recording contributions;
* displaying savings history and statistics;
* calculating and displaying savings streaks;
* synchronizing the user's data;
* providing images related to the user's savings goals.

KOPI does not connect to the user's bank accounts and does not verify whether the amounts entered by the user actually exist in a bank account.

Amounts entered into KOPI are used for tracking and calculation purposes only. KOPI does not perform bank transfers or financial transactions on behalf of the user.

## 4. Data Storage and Synchronization

KOPI uses **Firebase Realtime Database**, provided by Google, to store and synchronize user data.

Savings goals, contribution history, savings streak information, and related goal data may be stored on Firebase servers.

KOPI also uses local storage on the user's device to support application functionality and offline use. When an internet connection becomes available, locally stored data may be synchronized with Firebase.

KOPI uses a unique pseudonymous user identifier to associate stored data with the appropriate user.

## 5. Third-Party Services

### Pexels

KOPI uses the Pexels service to find images related to a user's savings goal.

When a user creates or selects a savings goal, KOPI may send the **name of the savings goal** to Pexels as a search query. This allows KOPI to find and display an image related to what the user is saving for.

For example, if a user creates a goal named "Trip to Japan", KOPI may send "Trip to Japan" to Pexels to search for a relevant image.

KOPI does not send the user's target amount, saved amount, contribution history, or savings streak to Pexels for this purpose.

The processing of information by Pexels is governed by Pexels' own privacy policies and terms.

## 6. Deletion of Savings Goals

Users can delete individual savings goals within KOPI.

When a savings goal is deleted, the data associated with that goal and its related contribution history is deleted from KOPI's stored data.

## 7. Data Security

KOPI takes reasonable technical measures to protect the information processed by the application against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

## 8. Data Sharing

KOPI does not sell users' personal information.

KOPI may share or transmit information to third-party service providers when this is necessary to provide specific application functionality, such as storing and synchronizing data through Firebase or obtaining goal-related images through Pexels.

KOPI may also disclose information where required by applicable law or where necessary to protect the security, rights, or property of KOPI, its users, or others.

KOPI is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children for purposes unrelated to the application's functionality.

The application does not require users to provide their name, phone number, or email address in the current version.
